Old Fashioned Homemade Lye Soap.
It was a tradition every year to go to our local Arts and Crafts Festival held the week of the 4th of July, just to get our hands on some good ole lye soap. With a very active outdoor lifestyle, clearing brush, gardening and the likes, lye soap is an absolute must. After running out mid-year, we began to make our own. Lye soap is fairly easy to make, just a little time consuming, so we decided to keep our price pretty easy as well. Our lye soap is composed of all natural ingredients; water, lard and lye, it's as simple as that.
Note: This soap can be used in the place of regular glycerin soaps. (Dial, Ivory, etc.) You can bathe with it, wash your face with it...you get the idea. Another great benefit about lye soap, it won't dry your skin out like most commercial soaps.
TIP - If you are a gardener...scratch a bar of soap to get a little of it under your nails prior to gardening. Your nails will not get as stained up from the dirt, it will just simply wash away when you wash your hands!
Our 4 oz. bars of all-natural lye soap are only $4.50 each. If you would like to place an order or have additional questions, please contact us below.
